United Kingdom: Owner upset after her Pomeranian goes into neighbor's yard and ends up dying

UNITED KINGDOM -- Emily Eringer said her family’s small Pomeranian, Chewy, escaped through a hole in a fence into the grounds of Laurence Kirschel’s home in Hampstead.

Chewy was injured and despite a blood transfusion and emergency surgery by a vet, died on Sunday.

Ms Eringer, 28, who is to marry former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Chisora, alleges that Chewy was attacked by the alsatians (German Shepherds).

But Mr Kirschel, 53, whose neo-Tudor mansion was used as the home of Cruella de Vil in the film 101 Dalmatians, said his dogs were not to blame.  He claimed the pomeranian may have died after his pets rolled on it as they played.

I have CCTV footage which shows clearly that Chewy ran into my garden and that the dogs were all playing together. You cannot see any biting, just dogs playing. The puncture wound could have come from the fence or brambles.”

Police are investigating.

It doesn't matter if the German Shepherds attacked the Pomeranian - or were 'playing' with him. The Pomeranian wasn't pulled into their yard; he trespassed onto their property. It's a horrible thing for the little dog, but it's not as though the Shepherds were running loose or had dug through their fence and come into the Pomeranian's yard and attacked him.
