North Carolina: Baby attacked by family dog

NORTH CAROLINA -- "I need your help. Not for me. For Eleanor Hofacker. She is the 8 month old daughter of a wonderful young woman in our office at Keller Williams of Greensboro. Eleanor was attacked by their family dog on Sunday night. She is alive but is now permanently blind in her right eye. She has already had multiple surgeries and will need several more.

"She is still in the hospital and needless to say their medical bills are stacking up. Any help is greatly appreciated."

Update:
We often complain about the negativity on social media (myself included). However, we should stop and think about the good that it brings as well. Watching complete strangers chipping in to help a family that is going through a nightmare, has been a phenomenal reminder of that for me.

Keep precious little Eleanor and her family in your thoughts and prayers. It is so awesome, and I am extremely thankful seeing so many friends sharing/donating to the GoFundMe page for her.

Not all of you know Becca Hofacker, but those that do can attest that she is an incredibly kind, honest, genuine, and selfless individual, and we are so lucky to have her in our office.

Note: I don't know that either of these dogs was the one involved in the baby's attack, but these are the only photos of their dogs I could find. Babies and dogs do not mix - no matter the breed.
