Alabama: Dachshund named Jake died after pit bull crushed his ribs and punctured his lungs in attack

ALABAMA -- Yesterday my sweet Dachshund Jake was killed by a pit bull that had got of its chain.

I got him to the vet but his ribs were crushed, his lung was punctured. There was nothing he could do but put my sweet Jake to sleep.

Jake was old he didn't have any front teeth, he would pretend he didn't like Radar my blue heeler but at night I would find him laying by Radar's side. I guess Radar must have known last night that Jake was gone. He layed his head across my lap all night. I know he misses his little buddy also.
