Florida: Woman walking her cat on a harness leash is attacked by a pit bull

FLORIDA -- My beautiful Gypsy Taylor and I were just attacked by Neighbor's aggressive Pit bull while on a walk (yes, she was on a leash). There was nothing I could do; I tried to put myself between them... If she hadn't outrun that monster, this post would have a gruesome ending, but I'm happy to just be saying...

Responsible dog ownership doesn't mean "keeping a dog contained" on a leash or in a yard, it means NOT encouraging aggressive dogs to be "rescued."

If there is any question that a dog might harm another dog, pet, or human, please don't risk it. This could have been the 6th time I would have witnessed a dog attack- 3 of them resulted in fatalities.
