Wisconsin: Four drug dealers facing child neglect, animal cruelty charges

WISCONSIN -- The Marathon County Sheriff's Department has arrested four people following a drug investigation into a high-volume marijuana distributor in Wausau.

According to a new release, John Deckow, 24, Hayley Deckow, 24, Joseph Deckow, 23 and Bryon Childers, 34, are all in custody in the Marathon County Jail.

Investigators said more than a pound of marijuana was seized during the execution of search warrant Wednesday night.

Three children were placed in protective custody, along with three cats and two dogs.

Police are recommending several charges including maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, animal neglect and possession.

A future court date has not yet been set.
