Minnesota: Aitkin County Sheriff's Deputy rescues injured owl
MINNESOTA -- An Aitkin County Deputy came to an owl’s rescue on Jan. 23 after receiving a tip from a concerned citizen.
Deputy Sheryl Cook came across an injured Barred Owl and carefully brought it to the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office where Deputy Jon Cline and Dispatcher Jacquie Honstrom created a temporary shelter and provided overnight care to the owl.
The next morning, it was brought to the DNR where it received medical attention and rehabilitation.
