Our pups LOVE the dog park, but tonight a pit bull attacked our lab and grabbed it by the throat.
The owner did nothing to stop the pit bull.
This is the second time this has happened with the same dog and owner. My fiancé had to push the dog away and lift our dog off the ground as the pit bull had her pinned. We told the owner to keep her dog at home if she can't control her dog.
We let dispatch know, since animal control was off duty already but I wanted to post on here as well.
If you see a gray, almost brindle coated pit bull at the park, call Animal Control! The dog is vicious and the owner is irresponsible. We will definitely go back to the park, but will call Animal Control if we see that dog again.
