Ciasia Padilla stabs man in E. Knoxville, say police

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A woman stabbed a man in East Knoxville early Friday morning, Knoxville Police say.
Officers were called to Austin P. Taylor Homes around 1:22 a.m. Friday and found Melvin McCaleb, 36, with two stab wounds.
Officers later found the suspect, Ciasia Padilla, 37, at Arbor Place Apartments. She was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault, police say.
Investigators say witnesses told them the stabbing stemmed from an altercation between McCaleb's nephew and Padilla's son. It's not clear what the altercation was about or how McCaleb and Padilla got involved.
McCaleb was taken to UT Medical Center. He's listed in stable condition.
