(September 2017) Missouri: Gerald creates fundraising page saying this dog was attacked by a Pit Bull when in reality, the Pit Bull had injuries from an embedded collar.

MISSOURI -- Gerald Eckles is asking for $500 for this dog's vet bills. He says she was attacked by a Pit Bull and needs surgery. However, if you look at the photos it's clearly the result of an embedded collar or chain around the dog's neck.

His Facebook page tells the truth about the situation - that this Pit Bull was allegedly abandoned by its owner, chained to a tree, he took it in and needs money for its surgery. What is the point of lying?

Plus, Gerald sure likes to brag about how much money he has. He has a lot of photos of wads of cash on his Facebook page. Seriously, who does that?

If Gerald is so flush in fat stacks, why can't he pay the $600 bill?

To be fair to Gerald, I compiled these photos from all
of his photos on Facebook to easily post a group of them.

Again, be careful before you donate money to anyone online.

If I were to believe him, that this wasn't his dog until just recently, I now worry about his little dog Charley.

Pit Bulls eat little dogs like Charley.
