Ohio: One-year-old hospitalized after being attacked by a pit bull on Cleveland's east side

OHIO -- A one-year-old was hospitalized Thursday night after being attacked by a pit bull on Cleveland's east side.

The attack happened just after 10 p.m. at 1082 East 74th Street. According to a police report, the dog is a pit bull mix.

The 1-year-old was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital with injuries to her face and chest, according to police.

Authorities removed the dog from the home.

No other information has been released at this time.
