Washington: Owl recovering after struck by car, rescued by Marysville officer

WASHINGTON -- An owl was rescued Thursday by a Marysville police officer after the bird was struck by a car.

Marysville police said the owl was taken to Sarvey Wildlife to recover.

“Meet our newest cadet, Owl Pacino,” the department said over Twitter. “An officer found him after he was hit by a car & took for a glide along. Wishing him a speedy recovery @SarveyWildlife & we hope he uses a crosswalk nest time.”
