California: Woman says NorthGate Kennels & Cattery in Walnut Creek let her dog get mauled by a Pit Bull then waited two days to even bother telling her

CALIFORNIA -- Rebeca De Leon shared Elizabeth Iannaccone's post on Facebook January 2, 2018. ·

Do not take your pet(s) to NorthGate Kennels & Cattery in Walnut Creek, CA! This happened to my cousin’s family dog and I hope no other pets will have to go through this.

They didn’t inform her that her dog had been attacked, tried to lie about the actual date of the attack, and learned of the actual date from the vet. He was without his owners suffering until they picked him up today (attack happened Friday and weren’t notified until 2 days later).

He had to have surgery and now is traumatized. The only thing shared with them was the misinformed date of when the attack happened and nothing else!

They have since learned the dog was sharing a kennel with an adult female pit bull ๐Ÿ˜ก.

Owner of kennel won’t even call them.

Share this post so that this will not happen to anymore pets at NorthGate Kennels & Cattery!!! ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

We picked up our poor dog today from NORTHGATE KENNELS in Walnut Creek where we left him over the weekend. He was attacked by another dog but they refuse to give information about the other dog or how it happened!

The attack happened on Friday at noon but they did not notify us until Sunday!

The vet did surgery to repair over 18 puncture wounds and his head was ripped open. The vet says he may have permanent damage. He keeps shaking from the trauma.

The owner of the kennel still has not contacted us and only the employee was there and refused to give us any information or allow us to see the kennel!
