SAN DIEGO, CA -- Local animal control officers have seized two pit bulls after one of them attacked a girl in City Heights.
"She had been bitten by a loose pit bull on the lower leg. She ended up going to Kaiser Hospital for some treatment," San Diego police officer Nick Ketchum said.
It happened Friday in an alley in the 3300 block of Chamoune Avenue. San Diego police say the girl was walking her dog when they encountered two pit bulls running loose. One of them bit her on the leg.
Police quickly arrived and restrained both pit bulls until animal control arrived.
No word yet on what will happen to the dogs.
