PENNSYLVANIA -- Two pit bull dogs that escaped from a backyard in Carlisle attacked a stray cat, and now their owner has been cited with having dogs that are not licensed or vaccinated for rabies.
Terry W. Dupert Jr., 30, was given the citations following the Tuesday evening attack on the stray cat. Police say the dogs got out of his Fairground Avenue backyard.
The cat was taken to a vet by a concerned neighbor, but had to be euthanized because of its injuries, police said.
