KENTUCKY -- A community gave a special honor today for a boy who stopped a dog attack that injured his sister.

Hero brother, Cameron, saved Brenna

Brenna Banks, 8, had to have more than 60 stitches after her neighbor's [pit bull] bit her in the face Tuesday.

Today her 12-year-old brother Cameron Banks was given a standing ovation by the congregation of Lighthouse Church of God in Winchester. Cameron was surprised by a hometown hero award days after saving his sister's life during a dog attack.

Today in church was the first time the brother and sister had the opportunity to spend much time together since Brenna's release from the hospital.
