Woman Arrested After Dog Attacks Neighbors Cat

PENNSYLVANIA -- Sometimes dogs and cats can't get along, and in one Pittsburgh neighborhood, neither can their owners.

Tabitha Cooper said she spent time in jail after her pit bull named Chaos attacked her neighbor's 10-pound house cat.

Police said the dog wasn't secured on Cooper's porch when he bit the cat on Saturday.

Officers were called to the home after the incident and told Cooper that she would be receiving citations for the incident in the mail.

However, a short time later police were called back to the home to referee another confrontation between Cooper and the cat owner.

"I called the 911 dispatch and told them what was going on," Cooper said.

But instead of finding sympathy, Cooper found herself in handcuffs. Police said she yelled obscenities and slammed her front door on a police officer.

She said she's only had this dog a month
and yet it's already attacking animals

"I did go into my house. I did slam the door, but me slamming it on him? No. That did not happen," said Cooper.

The officer was not hurt.
