GEORGIA -- A Colquitt County woman was treated Thursday at Colquitt Regional Medical Center for an injury she suffered while avoiding a pursuing dog, Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office reports said.
Kenneth Sparkman, of the 300 block of Giles Road, reported that his wife Pamela was chased in her yard by a large, light-brown dog.
Sparkman told the officer that the dog, possibly a Rhodesian ridgeback, came into the yard at about 2 p.m. Pamela Sparkman fell while being chased and injured her knee.
Kenneth Sparkman told the officer that he did not know who owns the dog but was able to give a location of the house where the dog lives, sheriff’s reports said.
