VIRGINIA -- A Waynesboro police officer was bitten by a dog on Friday after he responded to reports of the dog running at large.
Waynesboro Police Sgt. Brian Edwards said Officer Vincent Donald went to the 1400 block of Harding Avenue about 1 p.m. to deal with the dog, a pit bull mix.
