ILLINOIS -- On August 13, in the late afternoon my three dogs (all on leashes) — Peanuts who weighs 4 lbs., Mayling weighing 3 lbs. and Shanana weighing 32 lbs. — were taking our usual walk at Empire and Carroll.
All of the sudden, out of nowhere, came a vicious, teeth baring, growling, slobbering growling Pit Bull charging after us. I didn’t have time to call my mom but I did pray.
I grabbed my dogs, froze and ask God to help me. Like the pit bull who came from nowhere, a Comcast worker appeared and literally stood between me and the pit bull. He stopped the dog from attacking me. Hats off to that worker, and thank God he was there to help me.
