Letter to the Editor: In Need of Help

CANADA -- I am writing you because I need the public’s assistance.

This past Saturday, my wife and I were walking our yorkie at the Deer Mountain Dog Park in Sherwood Park when he was attacked by a big brown pit bull.

Both my wife and I managed to pry our dog out of his mouth, but it was extremely scary and our dog almost died.

The owner of the pit bull agreed to pay the damages and meet us at the veterinarian.

I gave them my contact information and I had no phone/paper and a pen to get theirs. I wasn’t thinking about asking their names, I was focused on running across the field and driving to the vet on time because I just wanted to save my dog’s life.

Well, they didn’t show at the vet office and they haven’t called us either. I need your help to find the owner so that her dog doesn’t attack any more small animals.

[His vet bill was $450. He describes the woman as pregnant, brown hair, 5'5"-ish. Last seen waddling away with her ugly brown monster pit bull.]

Please contact me at 857-404-2181.

Thanks.
