Florida: Child hospitalized after bitten in the face by pit bull

FLORIDA -- An Osceola County boy was taken to the hospital after being bit in the face by a dog.

Osceola County's fire chief said the dog, a pit bull, bit a 4-year-old boy Saturday night at a LaSalle Avenue home in St. Cloud.

The location where a 4-year-old boy was bit by a pit bull.

According to the chief, the child lost a lot of blood and had to be rushed to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Osceola County Animal Services took custody of the dog. It is unclear if the pit bull belonged to the boy's family or someone else.
