Pizza-delivery woman attacked by a dog

OHIO -- A pizza-delivery person was taken to the hospital Monday after she was attacked by a dog while making a delivery.

According to an incident report, a male poodle jumped up and attacked Domino's employee Donna Flynn during a pizza delivery in the 800 block of Eagle Court.

"I was on a delivery from Domino's and I had to deliver to this one house," Flynn said. "They didn't restrain their dog and it came out and bit me -- broke the skin and everything."

The dog, which Flynn described as a medium-sized bichon frise, jumped on her and bit her on both of her thighs. Flynn later went to Fremont Memorial hospital where she received a tetanus shot and a prescription for antibiotics.

Criminal charges are pending, though Flynn said she will file a civil lawsuit against the dog's owner, who apologized on behalf of her dog.

"After all that, they didn't even give me a tip," she said.
