Live Oak Police filed multiple charges against Timothy Talbert.
Investigators say he allowed more than a dozen animals to take over the inside of his mother's home on Antique Oak.
Authorities say they found cats and dogs there and at Talbert's home across the street that were malnourished and covered in fleas, urine and feces.

According to an affidavit, Talbert got many of the animals from the Schertz Humane Society.
There is no word on whether any of the animals will be kept alive.
