Rottweiler Held at A.N.N.A. Shelter

PENNSYLVANIA -- A Rottweiler dog that attacked a woman and her little boy, in Erie Saturday is being held at the A.N.N.A. Shelter, until animal enforcement decides his fate.

The attack happened about 5:00 PM Saturday, in the 500 block of West 17th Street.

Police say the mom and her 3 year old son were outside, when the Rottweiller, dressed in a white tee shirt, bit the woman, then bit the little boy on both feet and literally chased them inside their apartment, entering the home as well.

Police called to the scene used a noose to collar the dog and secure him in a police cruiser.  The animal was then transported to the A.N.N.A Shelter.

Investigators say the dog belongs to a neighbor.  They have not said yet if that neighbor will face charges.
