At approximately 1:30 p.m., Brashears was taken into custody at his residence on complaints of animal at large and 11 outstanding Tulsa County warrants for various crimes.

According to reports, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Brashears' pit bull attacked his roommate
Jeremy Byrd in the 800 block W. Long St. Byrd sustained injuries to his arms and the pit bull was stabbed to death by the neighbor.
Before deputies arrived on the scene, Brashears disappeared before he could be questioned by Tulsa County Sheriff’s Deputies specializing in animal control investigations about the attack.
Deputies believe Brashears fled the scene because he had multiple outstanding warrants out.
Brashears was booked into the Tulsa County Jail Thursday afternoon and his bond is set at $12,018.
Sheriff’s Deputies will continue the investigation to determine if additional charges may be presented against Brashears for maintaining a dangerous dog.
The conclusion of the investigation will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for evaluation.
