Bull mastiff impounded in Moses Lake after attacking dog

WASHINGTON -- A bull mastiff dog jumped a fence to attack another dog being walked on Oregon Street in Moses Lake, leaving the smaller dog with a wound needing 28 stitches.

The smaller dog’s owner took it to the vet before calling police. He told them the dog had several wounds and one required 28 stitches, according to police records.

Police impounded the bull mastiff on Thursday for a 10 day hold and the owners are being cited for allowing a dog to run at large, not having a dog license and for keeping a vicious dog.
