TEXAS -- A man has been arrested, accused of leaving a dog tangled around a tree.
According to court documents, on July 24, a Harris County officer responded to a call about dog being in danger.
When he arrived at a home in southeast Houston, officers said he found a dog at the end of a 20 foot nylon cord.
The other end was attached to a 25 pound weight and the cord was also tangled around a tree branch, police said.
Investigators talked with neighbors and was told the dog had been there for a couple of days.
