KANSAS -- A woman is recovering after being attacked by a dog on Monday in the area of the 400 block of North 10th Street in Kansas City, Kan.
Police said the woman was walking down the street when she was attacked. Police said the woman’s injuries were “bad” but they did not elaborate further. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to an animal control officer, the dog got off its chain and attacked the woman. The dog’s owner reportedly took the dog back inside but would not open the door when animal control and police arrived. Police may return with a search warrant.
