Pit bull attacks 3 people, 2 dogs in Stowe Township

PENNSYLVANIA -- Three people and two small dogs were attacked by a pit bull in Stowe Township Tuesday.

Channel 11’s Renee Kaminski reported that a woman was walking her two dogs, named Benjamin and Butters, when she was bitten trying to protect them.

Kaminski has learned that an 11-year-old was among the three people bitten in the attack and is currently being treated at an area hospital.

Residents of the Preston neighborhood in Stowe Township said unleashed dogs are a big problem.

Kaminski is tracking down the victims and talking to police. She’ll have more information tonight on Channel 11 News at 5 p.m.
