Accused animal hoarder Kimi Peck will learn charges after sickly dog found running loose

COLORADO -- An alleged animal hoarder from Kern County is heading to court in Colorado Tuesday to learn her charges.

Kimi Peck faces one count of animal cruelty and is being held on $3,00 bail in Weld County, northeast of Denver. She was arrested in Colorado after someone reported seeing two dogs running loose.

Earlier this month Peck failed to appear in a Wyoming court after she surrendered more than 50 dogs.
They all allegedly showed signs of neglect.

Peck ran a dog rescue in Tehachapi. It was shut down in July 2012 , after the Humane Society rescued 150 dogs.

In 2012, several dead dogs were found floating in a pool on her Tehachapi property.

Kimi Peck is the daughter-in-law of actor Gregory Peck.
