Officials with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office said 48-year-old Jennifer Lynn Fowler has been charged with the torture of a dog or cat, a class D felony.
A witness, who was driving behind Fowler, reportedly told investigators the bag was thrown out of a vehicle on Russellville Road Monday afternoon. The witness pulled over to see what was in the bag and allegedly found the young animals inside.
The person then called 911, and Fowler was taken into custody Tuesday.
It was not known whether or not the kittens survived the incident.
Fowler was booked into the Christian County Jail on $5,000 bond.
