Money donated for fake KFC story will go into a trust for little girl

Donations for girl mauled by pit bulls now in lawyer's hands

MISSISSIPPI -- An attorney for the family of a young girl mauled by pit bulls said he will set up a trust fund for her care and recovery with donated money.

Victoria Wilcher got national attention when her grandmother claimed they were kicked out of a KFC in Jackson because of the girl's scars. The fast food chain claims there is no evidence that the incident ever happened.

KFC employees have endured harassment and

After the controversy arose, GoFundMe froze an account set up for Victoria. The Wilcher family's attorney said the money raised has now been turned over to him to use for the trust fund.
