NEW YORK -- A horse has been seized from a Fort Edward woman and she’s been charged with animal cruelty.
Tamara L.Cook, 47, of Patterson Road, was arrested after State Police received a complaint from a person who reported that the horse on Cook’s property appeared skinny and malnourished.
After the horse was examined by a veterinarian, it was seized by the SPCA of Upstate New York.
She was issued an appearance ticket for Fort Edward Town Court. 10-14-14
