Thirty days of unsupervised probation is what you get in Kentucky for abusing dozens of animals

KENTUCKY -- A Harrison County man charged with animal cruelty earlier this year has pleaded guilty in the case.

Officials say dozens of horses and ponies were found in bad shape on a Harrison County farm - many of them in a pen about a half-acre in size.

Court officials say Dennis Robinson pleaded guilty to second degree animal cruelty.

A judge gave him 30 days probation, and he had to forfeit his animals and pay a fine.
