INDIANA -- A Terre Haute man has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence animal cruelty after allegedly harming his girlfriend’s small dog.
Brandon Michael Franklin, 25, was booked into the Vigo County Jail late Tuesday after being arrested by the Terre Haute Police Department.
Franklin appeared in Vigo Superior Court 3 on Wednesday, where Judge David Bolk found probable cause for his arrest and set another hearing for Monday for the filing of formal charges. Franklin is being held without bail in the Vigo County Jail.
A police investigation revealed that Franklin allegedly threw his girlfriend’s Pomeranian breed dog against a wall causing it to have to be put down.
