NORTH CAROLINA -- A deer trapped on a road in Charlotte caused some serious backups for Friday morning’s commute, according to WSOC-TV.
The deer was stuck in traffic on Independence Boulevard in Charlotte just before Interstate 277, according to witnesses.
Officers surrounded the animal near the median. An animal control officer shot the deer with a tranquilizer before pulling it off the road.
