OHIO -- A pit bull broke loose from a tether and attacked a man Saturday afternoon near Upland Avenue in Dayton.
The victim told police the dog had been tied up behind a house on Upland Avenue and lunged at him as he walked in an alley behind the home.
The dog broke free from a cord and bit him in the buttocks, he told police.
The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital.
A resident of the home, Marcus West, was cited for having an unlicensed animal. The victim plans to press charges against the dog’s owner, according to the Dayton Police Department.
