In November of 2014 deputies from Mayes County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home in Plantation Estates, occupied by Charles and Jennifer Henry, in regards to possible neglected dogs.
“When the deputy arrived on scene he saw three Pit Bulls in the house that appeared to be in good health. He saw three more Pit Bulls in the back yard that also appeared to be healthy,” said Cpt. Rod Howell of the Mayes County Sheriff’s Office.

Howell said, according to the deputies report, he then saw two Great Danes in the residence. He described them in saying their “eyes were sunken in” and “every vertebrae in their back was visible.”
According to Howell the dog owners indicated they had owned the dogs for seven to eight months.
“According to the veterinarian, the Great Danes were malnourished and possibly suffering from worms,” Howell said, adding that the dogs had not been to the veterinarian in some time.
MCSO said they filed their reports immediately after the event.
A warrant was just issued for the Henry’s arrest Thursday.
