NORTH CAROLINA -- Cumberland County Sheriff's detectives arrested a man and charged him with starving two dogs to death.

According to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, deputies went to 30-year-old James Marvin Wing's residence in Fayetteville to serve documents and discovered the deceased dogs.

An investigation revealed Wing had left the dogs locked up in wire cages with no access to food or water for an undetermined number of weeks.
