Owners will not be charged in Union Co. pit bull attack

ARKANSAS -- The owners of three dogs that attacked a 6-year-old last month will not be charged.

According to the prosecutor, the owners will not be charged because the three pit bulls showed no previous signs of aggression.

According to earlier reports, the 6-year-old had been playing with the two 8-month pits bulls just before the attack happened. The child had apparently screamed for an unknown reason, and the mother dog got involved.

The child had to be lifted to Arkansas Children's Hospital. As of a couple of days ago, the child was still there. No word has been released on his condition.
