CANADA -- A woman has now been charged in relation to a case of extreme animal hoarding in Cox's Cove on the west coast.
In December 2014, Scaredy Cat Rescue discovered over 130 cats and kittens living in squalid conditions. Volunteers with the rescue group were able to gradually remove the animals and place them into foster and adoptive homes.
The homeowner has now been charged under the Animal Health and Protection Act. The case goes to court on June 2nd.
