On Wednesday, Jonathan Ford was taken into custody by the Pope County Sheriff's Office.
Following an investigation and after consulting with the prosecuting attorney, Ford was booked and charged with bestiality, a class A misdemeanor.
According to police, the animal in question has been placed in a local animal shelter.
This investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
