FLORIDA -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is investigation a report of animal abuse last weekend.
A pet cat was taken off a lady's porch on Lake Shore Drive in Glandorf by a group of juveniles and then tortured for a time before being released.
The juveniles skinned the tail of the cat causing obvious severe injury, then left in an unknown vehicle.
The cat did return and the owner was able to get it treatment after the very traumatic event for both the pet and the owner.
