Georgia: In 2011, John Norman, 60, was charged with bestiality, aggravated animal cruelty and child pornography. Yesterday, he was released from prison.

GEORGIA -- I'm not sure if I'm reading this correctly, but according to the Georgia Department of Corrections, despite being given 15 year sentences for 'sexual exploitation of a child', he's already been released.

Back in June 2011, John Norman, then 56, decided to go to his town's local swimming pool. By himself.

While there, he began taking photographs of the children at the pool. Luckily, someone noticed him and didn't just dismiss him as a creepy old man. They called the police.

Due to the case involving children, not many details were released. But suffice it to say, police had enough probable cause that they executed a search warrant at his home on Bonnie Avenue in Doraville and found a slew of child pornography, along with video of John Norman raping two German Shepherds.

He was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of children, bestiality and aggravated cruelty to animals.

The 11-count indictment accused John David Norman of owning nine computer photo files — with file names like “star trek” and “tonight” — depicting children in sexually explicit poses.

He was incarcerated at the Autry State Prison but not for long. If you look below at all the sentences he received, you'd think he'd die in prison before being released. But it appears that he did about 4 years and then they cut him loose.

He is registered as a sex offender, though, and apparently now lives in Forest Park, Georgia.
