Michelle Purchla, along with her boyfriend, charged with animal cruelty after posting their skeletal dog for sale online
NEW YORK -- State Police have also arrested Michelle Purchla, 37 of Queensbury. Police say she is the boyfriend of George Dane.
She has been charged with Failing to Provide Sustenance to an Animal. She is due back in court on August 17th.

It takes searching but this woman appears to have a LONG history of problems. Searching her name ( and not a very common one) she is associated with several Pet groomer/Boarding establishments in the glens Falls area- all which seem to be out of business. She has been arrested for lying to the court about rent during and eviction process. It looks as though she had an altercation in Pennsylvania for car theft. And some other facebook postings indicate she has be incarcerated before. Some postings indicate she took this dog with puppies and told the rescue that she would sell the puppies to care for the dog. Someone indicated she collected $1200 obviously not used for the dog. Additionally she accuses a local rescue of slander and claims her "computer was hacked" and she never did the posting trying to sell the dog. WHY on earth would someone want to hack HER computer to sell an emaciated dog? Don't hackers look for REAL money- which clearly she does not have? Hopefully she will go to jail along with her buddy in crime George Dane!
