Investigators say the 49-year-old Warren man is from India and does not speak English very well, so his son served as a translator when police conducted two interviews with him.
“Through his son, he said he doesn’t know anything about hitting geese while he was driving,” said Clinton Township Detective Capt. Richard Maeirle.
The geese were crossing Gratiot Avenue at Wellington Crescent on July 30 when the incident occurred.
