Wheeling Woman, Brianne Layman, Allegedly Kills Kitten During Fight With Boyfriend

WEST VIRGINIA -- A Wheeling woman is in the Northern Regional Jail after she allegedly killed a kitten during an argument with her boyfriend.

Wheeling Police say Brianne Layman, 20 of Wheeling was screaming at her boyfriend, and throwing things at him.

Police say she picked up a two-month-old gray and white kitten and threw it against the wall. The boyfriend immediately picked up, but it died in his arms.

Layman is charged with domestic battery and cruelty to animals resulting in death.

She is being held in the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail under a $4,000 bond.
