Oklahoma: Unnamed juvenile holds dog down and chops its ear off; facing animal cruelty charge

OKLAHOMA -- Muskogee police responded to an animal cruelty call Monday around 1 p.m. at 605 N. 13th St., where a juvenile was reported to have cut a dog’s ear off.

We are pursuing this story now.

UPDATE: Police won’t release many details because of the age of the suspect. Animal control was sent to the house because they had received a call about a dog’s ear being cut off.

When they arrived, they found a suspect had cut a dog’s ear off, according to Lincoln Anderson of the police department.

The case has been submitted to the juvenile DA. The dog was treated at a local veterinarian’s office and has been placed in a foster home.
