Raccoon with its head stuck in a jar is rescued by animal control

MISSOURI --  A raccoon no longer has its head stuck in a jar, thanks to an animal control officer with the St. Charles Police Department in Missouri.

The raccoon was found in this situation around 9 a.m. on Friday in St. Charles.

 

The officer took the raccoon to a local veterinarian where it was sedated and the jar was removed.

Once the raccoon is fully conscious, it will be released back to the area where it was found.
