Police hunt for the monster who starved and then dumped two baby bulldogs

FLORIDA -- Police in Florida have appealed for help from the public in tracking down the person responsible for starving two puppies and then dumping near the beach.

The two bulldogs were only five-months-old when they were found close to death.

Severely malnourished, neither of the puppies had properly grown fur and both were sickly thin.


They were found near the golf course at Vero Beach Country Club in Vero Beach, WPTV reported.

The two were found on Wednesday wandering around looking for food. Both were underweight had found to have mange.

However they are now in the care of the Humane Society of Vero Beach and are undergoing treatment.




'As animal advocates, the Humane Society and Vero Beach Police Department will do everything possible to seek justice for these animals,' Humane Society Executive Director Chalmers Morse said in a news release.

The organization is asking for donations to help them continue to treat the animals.
